We buy a member week for 8 days 7 nights, cheaper than through travel agent or the resort itself; email me privately (click on my picture) if you want to know how to contact the member we deal with. Be sure and include your email address so I can respond |

Mexico is still a vacation value! You get so much for your money! Two yrs ago we (the 2 of us) went to Cancun, flew out of Charlotte, NC stayed at Temptations (formally the Blue Bay Getaway), we paid 1550.00 for AI, air, transfers, taxes and fees for 4 days.
This summer we're flying to Nuevo Vallarta, staying at the Royal Decameron (an AI) air, transfers, taxes and fees come to 1649.00 for 7 days! We got our packages from Sam's Club, I think they have the best rates. |

Try the website skyauctions.com. If you think that you are interested in bidding, be sure to open the links and read all the pages. They explain what additional charges you will incur. Good luck. This is probably your cheapest way out there if you are flexible. |

It depends on where you're coming from. I'm in Canada and just spent a week in PV at a 3.5 star all-inclusive resort just outside of downtown. It cost us $1400 for the flight, resort and all-inclusive food and alcohol. I think any resort that is at least 3.5 stars will be nice and unless you're coming from Europe, it will never cost the $3000 that was mentioned above. |

I am planning to stay at Dreams AI Resort and Spa in May. Its a 4.5 star hotel that had pretty good reviews. Coming from southern US it will cost us about $3000 for 5 nights and airfare for two staying in a jr. suite. |

I went about 8 years ago and stayed at the Melia. Resort was all inclusive and was clean and nice, food was good but not much to do in this area after 9 or 10 pm. It is in walking distance to a small marina which had small shops, bars, restuarants. Downtown shopping area was a short cab ride. Also had a good time swimming with dolphins. |

You should be able to do one for about 2K per week...toss in your air fare and some change for stuff and you got 3.5K....Mexico used to be inexpensive but not any more.. |
