We Mexicans eat tacos and Asian people eat rice...hahaha. What a weird question! Do not know what do you want to hear. By the way there are Asian-Mexicans or vice versa. I mean i have a good friend who`s parents are from Japan he is Japanese but he was born in Mexico, so he is also Mexican. So, what is the difference? ask them! probably it the answer comes in of which Country they fell part of. And by the way the guy above me that said Mexico is a country Asia is a Continent is TOTALLY right.
Now, as i wrote that i was wondering. Perhaps you mean that there is some look a likeness between de original Mexicans (i mean prehispanic cultures and not mixed with Spaniards) and Asians, you are right. There is a theory that says that people came to the American continent from Asia, Russia and so on through Bering Alaska, Canada, and so on. So yes physically there are some similarities between us and the Asian people...
And now iÂ´ll stop wondering what do you want to know..

there is a theory that there are not "race" genes. that races share hair, skin, eye color, ect. genes, like a black skin gene and a black hair gene. not both in one "african american" gene. and people who say asians are smarter are prejudiced. yes, asians statistically get better grades than whites, blacks, and hispanics. but it is probably just because they study harder. it's a tradition of how they were raised by their parents. their parents want them to get into ivy league, and then become doctors and lawyers and engineers. (oh, and about your Q: i can't always tell the difference from a glance, but I usually can tell after a conversation or two.)

You can look at it 2 ways - either place of birth (anywhere in Asia or Mexico) or DNA genetics (asian genes or mexican genes - apparent from color of skin, eyes (without contacts), hair, build, etc)

Hmmm, there are mexicans that are full blooded asians. Mexican refers to the nationality, some people will use the term as if there is such thing like a "mexican race".

Why is everyone saying Asians are from asia and mexicans are from mexico??? Pretty stupid, Yes Mexicans are from mexico but Asia is a continent, which means Asians come from Japan, China, Laos etc... Multiple Countries. Asians have somewhat slanted eyes (Not All of course). Mexicans usually have darker skin color than white people and lighter than Black people. It's all in the genes really but those are pretty much the major differences.
