Usually it is no issue BUT if you are wearing a wristband that shows your age, it may make it slightly more difficult... I wouldn't worry too much though. i was served drinks at 14 in Mexico with the wrong colour bracelet... |

Please girl, you'll be in Mexico.
I've seen girls drinking in nightclubs that I could swear are only 13 or 14 years old. And even moreso you being an American, they shouldn't give you a hard time. Trust me.
