The power outlets that Mexico uses, much like other kinds of equipment are either made in Mexico and sent to the US, or imported into Mexico from the US, so many of the appliances and products in Mexico and the US are the same.
The voltage has a small variation but that doesn't translate to anything of big trouble.

Mexico uses the same outlets as the US. The voltage is a bit higher(127v - 120v) which won't be a problem.

yes just like the US but some older houses (which is most) have the 2 pin only not the 3rd ground pin...... u'll need an adapter if u come across this.

Yes, but be sure to bring a power strip as most hotel rooms have very few outlets, with usually only one for your personal use.
