Does Tijuana have a lot of Crime?

The Ghost
It does, but the media paints an unfair picture, they can focus on the good things that I will touch on on other answers that I imagine either you or a classmate have asked, what with all the sudden questions on tijuana. It has many great things, but unfortunately many people, not from tijuana go up to tijuana, and just live there for a little while and while they're there don't really care about the city, and then there's the drug influence. It is a continuous problem, but solutions are on the horizon, and it is not like a lost cause as many answerers paint the situation.

Really.... you have to ask that question.? an that's not racist.. that economics lol

All of Mexico does, so yes.

Well, no, if you consider the current drug war a "little" crime. Hell, TJ's death toll last year was "only" 840. There have been coupes and revolutions with less death tolls.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS there is a drug war going on right now there, and they keep finding US tourists dead. (mostly families). The government has issued a travel advisory on how unsafe it is right now.

Yes as most extremely poor areas do.

Yes,
If you go to a resort you are fine, but if you go on any "adventures" you could end up in some trouble. They have "banditos" (I may have not spelled that right) and they will literally hold you hostage and make you pay them money to let you go.

Stay with the other tourists and you will be fine, but venture out and good luck.
