Where in Mexico?. In the south, the weather is more tropical. In the NW region i.e. the Sonora desert is a a desert that extends all the way to Phoenix (AZ) so you can imagine the weather there. Baja California is similar to California.
Its a big country and long (north to south) so it varies a lot.

There are two seasons dry (from november to march) and wet (from april to october)
The climate is template. In summer the highest is 85ºF and in winter the lowest is 22ºF.
Northern Mexico, like Chihuahua is quite extreme and dry going from 106ºF in summer to -25ºF.
Southern Mexico is more humid and temperature goes from 57ºF to 95ºF.
