The point is that most mexican children can't afford to buy candy. So what ever to take will be a hit. Also, I would pick something that won't melt in your luggage!
p.s. if you want to be really helpful, take stuff they can use. i.e. pencils and crayons, paper, stickers, barrettes and scrunches, combs, little toys, that kind of thing. It will be appreciated WAY more than candy. |

Well I'm sure about candies but i sure do know you cannot get hot Cheetos or onion rings well American chips.

I dont know what kind of candies you have there that are not in mexico since I have seen almost the same candies here that in USA, the candy industry is big in Mexico and we are a big exporter of candies and chocolate, any candy you bring will be nice. Every child can buy candy here!!! is not a luxury thing |

Milk Duds, Big Red Gum, Tootsie Rolls, Resin Chocolates, and there are others, just not quite sure at the moment.
Big Red Chewing Gum is a hit with my friends, since it is cinammon and nothing compares in the gum department there. I gave it to one friend a few years back and he asked me if there were drugs in it since it had the cinammon strength to it. He was so crazy. After that he and many other friends were happy when I brought these things to them. |
