I don't know which verb to pick and even if I did - I don't know how to congugate it.. I have to do 20 sentences and these are the ones I can't figure out:
16. ?____tu ir al cine o al teatro? (preferir, entender, mentir)

16. Think about the literal translation. Preferir: Do you PREFER the cinema or the theater. Entender: Do you KNOW the cinema or the theater. Mentir: Do you LIE the cinema or the theater. Using this method, the answer is Preferir. The tu form of this verb is prefieres, as it has a stem-change from e to ie.
18. Use the same method. You should get devolver, to return an item. The tu form is devuelves, as it has a stem-change from o to ue.
20. Same thing. You should get recordar, to remember. The nosotros/as form is recordamos, as the stem-change from o to ue only applies to the yo, tu, el/ella/usted, and ellos/ellas/ustedes forms of the verb. |

It's really funny, al that people saying it's easy...OK 16 and 20 everyone told you the right thing (prefieres ir al cine.. and nosotras recordamos) but 18 has something, you could have copied it wrong. Or it can be tu devuelvele los discos a pedro , tu le devolviste los discos a pedro? that tu there its kind of weird...

I could help you, but then how do you learn? That's the whole idea about learning another language. You pick what you think is the right verb and the right way to congugate it. If you get it wrong then you will learn and hopefully get it right the next time! Doing it this way you will never learn it. |
