The City is always packed, Dady O and Dady Rock are also very packed, in May you will see a drop in the overall General crowds, but the night life is always packed.

If you havn't booked your resort yet I highly recommend Riu Cancun, the service was amazing and the resort and beach was absolutely beautiful. If you have booked then just makesure to raid the bars. Tequila slammers are amazing there! Other drinks I loved/ people told me that I loved were: kamikazes, martini rossi on the rocks, scooby doos, bahama mamas, rainbow shots, bloody mary's, bloody caesar's, just try everything on the menu! At all inclusive resorts tips are even included so you don't need to worry about bringing cash around. YOU. MUST. GO. TO. COCOBONGO'S. And yes it will be packed, its packed every day of the year but if you get the package before hand the line up won't be too long. Don't get on the man-held carriages they're a rip off, a 7 minute ride can rack up to 50$ US and you can't really argue with them. I also went to Xel Ha, its an all day excursion and I really enjoyed the cliff jump. Have fun! And make sure you bring Gravol or Pepto Bismal because the water tends to give people stomach aches, even if you don't directly drink the water, its usually used in cooking/mixing drinks etc.

The only useful info I can give you is have a fun, relax enjoy the beautiful caribbean sea. Watch the under tow in the water, there have been some drownings already this past spring. Even if you are a good swimmer, it can pull you out.
The clubs will not be as crowded but still fun. The entertainment staff at your hotel can guide you to all the good stops.

Enjoy your time in Cancun, it's been a long winter.

The clubs there are always packed! Coco Bongo and Daddy O's are huge and fit thousands of people inside. Just try to get in with the entertainment staff from your resort, they know the bartenders and you will get better service.
Make sure you don't carry any tanning lotion, creams...in your carry-on because they are not allowed.
I assume you knew this already but I thought I'd remind you, since I knew it too and bought an $18 bottle of aloe vera for my burnt skin, placed it in my carry-on and had to get rid of it in order to board the plane = )

are u wondering if there is good golfing? Yes there is!! There is lots of great things to see and do 1hr south of cancun!
