If you like nightlife you will love it, there are loads of great clubs you could go to a different one every night for weeks. They are open late so you can spend a day on the beach and have a sleep and not go out until 10pm.

in the carribean and mexico, it's hot but also hurricane season october to december (it was cancun that all the tourists got stuck this time a couple of years ago because of the hurricane), and can have downpours during the day, however, i went in early december and apart from one rainy day it was fine.
