Take a bus tour to Chichen Itza, and another to Tulum. Go snorkelling at Xel-Ha. Eat Mayan food at a restaurant downtown.
The best thing about Cancun is there are cheap local buses up and down the coast. I think the fare is about 30 cents (Mexican). |

My wife and I were part of a group of 7 and stayed at the moon palace. Had a great time, great food and the service was excellent. Take the time to see the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itsa and the boat ride to Isla Mujeras was fun. At the Moon Palace, the food was great, had burgers, ribs mahi-mahi, salmon, shrimp and the Italian restaurant, La Trattoria, at the moon golf and spa was very good. (blanc la blanc wine!!). Take plenty of sunscreen and enjoy a drink called a Miami Vice (pina colada and strawberry daiquiri with a rum topper) |

stay at club med= everything is included in one price. and it is a blast.
beautiful beaches, clear turquoise blue water, weather is hot and humid so you do not need many clothes, everyone is happy and the food is great.
you'll meet lots and lots of people and it will be the best time you have ever had in your entire life, there are many options of things to do = one is go to tulum...it is very intersting to see the ancient mayan ruins...it's eery almost like you are walking amongst ghosts....do you like to water ski? well there is plenty of it at club med, also wind surfing, diving, snorkeling. kite surfing = you name it you do it. |
