You can play durangense music (which to me reminds me of polka music, lol) Some groups are K-paz de la sierra, Montez de durango and Tigres del Norte. Also, I like mexican cumbia music. Some good groups are Canaveral and Los Angeles de Charly.

Definitly some mariachi music. Luis Miguel (Most famous mexican singer) released a mariachi album like 3 years ago, its called "Mexico en la piel", download it, its great.
You can download too some "banda" music, like Banda El Recodo, Banda Limon or Valentin Elizalde. Thats some of the most traditional bands played in Mexico.
Dont get scared of the voice of Valentin Elizalde, we know he didnt sang well, thats why we like it lol.
BTW, manu chao its not even mexican and i hate him, you can download some of his songs too but thats not our traditional music. |
