Don't worry!! This time of year it does sometimes sprinkle a little each day but it never lasts and it brings down the humidity. The sun always comes out. I'm going on the 16'th and have been in August before the rain comes and goes really quick, it's never stopped me from going. Have fun, drink some tequila and you've got no worries |

We went two weeks ago to Cancun, and the whole weeks forecast was rain and thunderstorms, we did not once get hit with rain. Dont worry, its rainy season in Mexico. Even if i does rain, look at the temps, its going to be in the high 90's! GREAT weather to go swimming and to the beach! Enjoy! |

just got back from mexico. and my friend is leaving tomorrow.
We had nonstop rain for one day, and they tried to keep everyone entertained indoors. [some people still were outside] the last day of our trip we got sprinkles. DOn't worry though. Sometimes its fun in the rain! (: |

It's been beautiful weather most of the last week, and promises to remain this way for at least another week. That doesn't mean you won't get a stray quick rain shower in the afternoon. However, you may not. Enjoy your trip and relaaaaaaaaaaaax! |

Calm down - your fine. The rainy season for all of Mexico is June thru August maybe Sept. This basically means typical Florida weather. Hot ,humid with 5 oclock thunderstorms.
Seriously. Hurricane brewin is a different story.
You will dodge a thunderstorm or two but a washout- no.........
Thinkin twice about next years trip and trip insurance eh :)
Could have picked a better time like October thru may when there is no rain , no clouds , no humidity , no mosquitos.
Just remember that you are in the tropics at this latitude and its called the "rainy season " but with global warming the deludge has turned to pop up 5 oclock thunderstorms. |

honestly, i wouldnt worry so much. it is raining season in most places in mexico which means that it rains for an hour or so and the rest of the day is fine. i am sure you will get a few good days of sun so no worries.
i just checked www.weather.com and noticed that most of the week only has 30% chance of rain. in these cases, it might not even rain at all. |
