The water in the US does not compare to the beautiful blue water in Cancun. I have dived (scuba) both in Cancun and all up and down the Keys in Florida, the water is much clearer in Cancun. Why dont you try the Bahamas? The water is almost the same as Cancun and it is very cheap to get there from Florida. I lived in California for seven years, and the water out there is nice, but colder than Florida and Cancun, and there are great whites! (sharks) there. yeah california is the best place to visit in the us if you want good beaches the water is so clean and blue you can see straight through it and there are so many places to visit in california you should definitly check it out |

I went there when I was 12, it was amazing. I went on a wave runner on the water there and it was fun. Honestly, one of the most amazing sights I have ever seen. The only beach that could compare would be somewhere in Florida, its nice down there also. |

I have been there twice and loved it. The water is more beautiful than here in America. It is warmer and crystal clear. There is a lot to do as well, make sure you see Chictzenitza (spelling?) - it is amazing (better than Tulum). We stayed at the JW Marriott - right on the water which is nice. Cancun is one big beach so enjoy! |

I've been to Cozumel which is relatively close to Cancun. The water is BEAUTIFUL....... I duno about beaches, but usually if you go through an all inclusive type of place tthen you stay in a hotel that has a beach all to itself and bla bla bla...... then you pay for everything up front, all your food, all your drinks..... and you don't have to worry bout a thing but lounging......

just got back from cozumel and the water is so crystal you can see to the bottom in many places..so blue..it was great..the beaches were awsome..we rented a jeep in town and drove to All of them!!..the jamaican beach was the best for the big waves and sandy beach..we had a great time playing in the waves |
