 I plan on going to Cancún this summer....?
What am I going to need? A passport? Social Security card? Birth Certificate? Food handler's permit? (Yes that one WAS a joke.)

I have been three times since the hurricane. I am a travel agent and I have gone to check out all the different areas the the damage to those areas. You can reach me at jane@goawaytravel.com if I can help you at all. I know nearly all the hotels and can answer specific quesitons for you.

Yes, I´ve been there on last may. Everything is OK.
Now is the hurricane period up to November.

Yes, It was very sad(we went in Feb 2006). A lot of the restaurants and shops were gone. very depressing compared to 12 months earlier.

Yes I have. I live there. Its been back on its feet for months now and tourism is going strong. If it wasnt for a few hotels that are still being fixed like the Fiesta Americana Aqua, you could never tell it was messed up in the first place.
