It really depends. You can find a bed at a youth hostel for under $10 US per night, or you could spend hundreds at a fancy hotel, and there are plenty that fall in between. It also depends on where you're looking. Hotels at the beach areas tend to be more than the hotels in the smaller towns. I stayed in Mexico City for about $65 US per night. It was clean, a good size, had a bathroom, a refrigerator, a TV and bottled water. I think the hotel was considered 2 or 3 stars. I don't stay in fancy places--just look for a place to crash and spend the days sight-seeing.
Many of the chains have hotels in Mexico-Sheraton, etc. If you go to a web site like Expedia, they have hotels rated by the customers, so you can find out the names of hotels and how good they are. |

It depends where you want to stay, and what kind of accommodations you are looking for.. Do you want a Beach Front Resort, do you want a more city trip.? once you have that ready, then think of the days and then ask the question, so that someone here can offer some advice... Take care, Mexico is huge and has alot to offer the traveler.... Here are some links!

I suppose it depends on what kind of hotel you want to stay in? If you want luxury you will pay for it, but if bare bones is all you need you can probably get a great deal. It probably also depends on what part of mexico you are talking about. Tourist places are probably more expensive then places off the beaten path. |

Depends on the hotel.... They are rated by stars, five star hotels are luxurious and can be expensive. Hotels in touristic places can be beautiful and even more expensive than those in the USA.
Here are some links so you can compare yourself and get an idea.
