How do I find out who owns certain properties in Cancun, Mexico? |
I was injured while vacationing in Cancun, due to a huge hole in a sidewalk at a small shopping center. My 5 day vacation (the 1st in 10+ yrs) was cut to just 1 short day in this beautiful city. I spent my one and only day/night in Cancun with 7 hours of enjoyment and 17 hours in the hospital overnight. Had to fly back to the states the next day to face surgery to fix my broken ankle. |

Which shopping center??? You should´ve taken care of it right away...your lawyer can´t do anything because this type of accidents don´t pay off in Mexico.
I don´t get it dude...if the whole was so big, how come you missed it? didn´t you see it?
Stop being mad at Cancun and comeback with no hard feelings...we will be more than glad to make your stay a memorable one (not awful memorable by the way...). |

You can sue the city (if it was a public sidewalk) or the shopping center (if it was inside their property, street sidewalks aren't considered private property). The whole legal process will take quite a while, besides being expensive. Also usually this kind of sues aren't really taken seriously in Mexico, and if they are you are required to provide a lot of time/papers/photographs/receipts/proofs as if you were to be held responsible, not them.... |

Get over it and come back......i understand that ur frustrated and mad....but even for locals the law....is hard to sue someone and don't forget it will take u like 2 yrs....and to sue the city??....really forget about it .....u want payback??...come back and break a window or somethin' |
