Dial 011 the international access code. Dial 52, the country code for Mexico. Dial the area code for the city you want to call, they are a 3 number code just as in the rest of North America. Codes for the 3 biggest cities are of only 2 digits as follows: Mexico City (D.F.) 55, Monterrey 81 and Guadalajara 33. Dial the rest of the 7 digits telephone number. Major cities telephone numbers are composed of 8 digits. Add 1 after the country code (eg. 52-1) if you are calling a mobile phone.

There are special dialing rules for calling Mexican cell phone numbers. You dont use an city code like most have said.
Check out Time Dial its really good at dealing with unusual dialing rules
Dialing Mexico = http://www.timedial.net/default.asp?CountryAway=MX (SELECT OVERSEAS TO CPP MOBILE)

Right you have to dial 16 numbers. If you are in the country you just have to dial 044 + 10 more numbers
EuroGreg
011 - 52 - 1 - (city code) - 1 - (number)
if you count all the numbers you have to dial, it should be 16 digits. for example: 011-521-7441-822576 (that would be a cell phone number for acapulco, because the city code for acapulco is 744.
for a land line, you would call 011-52-city code and number
the difference between land line and cell phone calls are the two 1s that you squeeze in there. it's all part of tel mex's scams to make more money.

Same numbers as from a land line.

011 is the international prefix to dial somewhere outside of the US
52 is the international code used to dial to Mexico.
Then dial the city code (55 for Mexico City)
Then dial the number.
If you're calling from a cell phone, first dial + (by pressing * then pressing it twice again.)

Well if you have long distance then enter the specific area code and then the number and it should work but it depends on the net work you use I hope that helps
