There are a few rain showers this weekend, but not bad. It is the rainy season for Cancún so you will experience more rain than normal when you visit next week. They put rain on the forecast most of the time because of Cancún being close to the ocean the levels of humidity are high and there is always a chance of a pop-up shower, but doesn't happen that frequent. Temperatures will still be in the upper 80's and although there will be some showers it won't be bad. It never rains all day in Cancún unless it's associated with tropical weather/hurricanes. It can literally rain for a few minutes up and to no more than 30 minutes at a time and usually the sun is still shinning. So, in review there will probably be a few showers but nothing to ruin your trip. Enjoy your time!!! |

It will probably be rainy. I just got back yesterday and it rained a lot when I was there. Don't listen to Senor Cancun he is FULL of crap. He told me it would be nice and it wasn't. He is a jerk-face that doesn't know what he is talking about. |

Friday was cloudy and cooler and the weekend might tend to be more the same. Weather should be good next week. No matter whether rain or shine.........just enjoy Cancun. There is plenty of stuff to do....rain or shine. |

the weather will be good by the 29, this weekend we are expecting rain but not enough to ruin any vacation ,you can still go to tours or the beach and get a good tan,can rain for short periods of time but the sun comes right out, dont worry youll have a great time |

In the tropics which includes South Florida and most of the Caribbean including Cancun there is almost always a chance of scattered thunderstorms. Do not be alarmed as you can go for 1 week and not see a drop of rain.
When and if it does rain it is usually a passing thunderstorm, lasts 20-40 minutes maybe and then the sun is out as intense as ever. It can be raining on one side of the street and not the other. If and when a thunderstorm does come, just take cover and pop open a dos equis or corona.
