I live in Chicago and I have done both trips.Chicago-Toronto and Chicago Mexico city,and I figure that it will probably take you about 50 hours driving plus whatever time you spend resting.I would say about 2 1/2 days.Hope this helps you,and make sure you have a newer car,you don't want to have car mechanical problems.that will defeat the purpose of driving without rest.Good luck.

This trip is around 3100+ miles, 2000 to the Mexican border and another 1100 into Mexico. This is a tough trip even if you're team driving. Give it around 40+ hours of non-stop in the USA, and a 2-day drive in Mexico, with an overnight stop in Durango, or someplace halfway.

Some hints:
+The driving hours are driving standard times for a 55 miles per hour, take your time to see what are your standard fast drive times
+The highways at mexico are a awfuly different. some areas from Monterrey to Queretaro might be easy to run but the asphalt floor might be real a pain after 1500 miles without a break for your car.
+Use "premium " at the gas station for better performance, not "Magna"
+Try not to drive at night, the people are not on highway good-manners as in US.

From Larado Tx. to Mexico City is About 14 hours, 4 lane highway all the way. From Toronto to Larado I do not know but the one time that I went to Chicago took 2 long days.

Lots but I suggest not driving at night in Mexico .... especially if it's the first time you are in any specific area and you are tired

hello I take in some cases 46 hours but is not good for your health and for be safe I suggest in first place if you go out sample at 5:00am (summer time)( 7:00 for winter time)you can drive with out problem for around 16 hours then is very dangerous because you are tired so take a rest in some motel I stop many times in Nashville if you become from Chicago little rock is in the road... so the next stop can be in Austin or San Antonio then you can take the road in Mexico is good highways ( is a fare for some of those....) your next stop can be in San Luis Potosi the part from Monterrey San Luis is very bored so you become tired more faster) and then the last part from San Luis to Mexico city is more faster and when you reach the city take to the south is the best place of the city for stay avoid the north of the city is not the best place ...same for the East part of the city is dangerous in the Tlalpan zone is big hotels, motels and places for camping in all the range prices, if you are there contact with one friend of mine there (is the best thing because him know the city and the places very well and you are more safe if you know to somebody there... write or call before and you visit can be more enjoyable...good luck
