Are you talking about in your stomach or in a bottle??

Gen
If you are a Canadian resident, and you are the legal drinking age in the province through which you enter Canada, you are allowed to bring in duty-free

1) 1.5 litres of wine
or
2) 1.14 litres of spirits/ 1.14 litres of wine and spirits
or
3) 24 x 12oz. cans of beer

If you are American, you are allowed to bring back 1 litre of alcohol duty-free.

Texas residents, 21 years or older, may bring back one liter of alcohol, one liter of beer and one liter of wine once every 30 days. Residents of other states, 21 years or older, may bring back up to four liters of alcohol and one case of beer once every 30 days. Anything over these amounts is subject to customs duty and internal revenue tax.

buy it in a duty-free shop and you can bring all you want

DC
One liter (33.8 fl. oz.) of alcoholic beverages may be brought in duty free if:

You are 21 years of age or older;
It is for your own use or for use as a gift;
It is not in violation of the laws of the state in which you arrive.
Most states restrict the quantity of alcoholic beverages you may import, and you must meet state alcoholic beverage laws in addition to federal ones. If the state in which you arrive permits less liquor than you have legally brought into the United States, then that state's laws prevail.
