Forget all answers above, from people who knows Mexico only for what they see in the movies. Hats in Mexico are as cheap or expensive as it could cost a hat in the States. There are cheap hats for about 20 bucks, and there are hats for about 3,000.00 USD, that depends on what you are looking for. Please dont tell me that you are of the people that think that in Mexico we are still riding horses. It's true that we have poor regions, but we have large cities as modern as a US city. You should visit Monterrey, Guadalajara, Chihuahua, Aguascalientes, for example, and it is amazing what you can find there. |

It depends on what kind of hat you are looking for, also what quality. There are some expensive specialty stores that sell very good quality hand crafted leather cowboy hats. or you could go to that local market and barter for a sombrero. Its up to you. |
