Depends on what you want I guess. We're staying at an all inclusive for 4 nights, and with air it came to 1550.00 for 2 people at the end of June |

That's a little broad...specify your question a little, like how long do you want to stay, where are you flying from, at what level of luxury are you expecting? I believe cancun is just a little more expensive than cabo san lucas depending on the time of year you go. |

well when i went I stayed in this really nice hotel called Dreams where the food and entertainment was encluded in the package. With the flight mine cost about 1,000 per person. |

I would suggest an all inclusive if it is your first time visiting. I have used Apple Vacations. From southern california in june it runs about $1000 per person for a week. this includes air, hotel, food, drinks (yes alcohol too), and non motorized water sports (kayak, snorkel gear, etc). it can cost more or less depending on how fancy you want the hotel to be. |
