How much spending money? |
I am going to Cuernavaca and Mexico City for a month. How much shopping money do you suggest I bring? This is not including food and drinks...just clothes, shoes, bags, souvenirs to bring home, and that type of stuff. Will I be able to find some good buys! Tell me anything you know! |

Cuernavaca is a great place and maybe if you go to Taxco (is nearby) and you like silver you can go poor (even it is not expensive there).
Shoes, bags or clothes can cost you to 20 to 100 dolars (depends what you buy,
a pretty market bag can cost you 3 dls a leather one 100 dls.)
You will have plenty to buy but be aware of the size of your suitcases.

Yes if you hit the right spots you can find some nice stuff and pretty good prices..It all depends on how much you want to spend though...for now you should take about 300 cause I think thats pretty good amount only if you need more go to an ATM remember there is a charge to exchange money back to US dollars s try and not get to much more then you need....

well a shirt can cost you between 10 and 100 USD depends on it, you can buy a nice shirt with 20-40 USD, jeans costs you in a mall between 30 and 100 USD, you can also buy a 500 dollars ones if you want but the 50 ones are good enough, shoes again .... it depends in how much do you want to buy but i think that with 500 dollars you can shop lots of things |
