How much spending money do i need for cancun? |
My husband and i are going to cancun, mexico for a week, along with 3 other couples. We want to do some tours and go clubbing a couple times. We're staying at all-inclusive Grand Oasis Playa. How much money should we take? Anyone been to this hotel? Tips and advice are welcomed! Thanks in advance!! |

Im going to cancun on saturday so excited [been twice before]
but you'll probably need about $75-$100 a day [food,drinks,tours,shopping and all that fun stuff]
ooohh and if you are walking around in the poorer areas where people sell handmade crafts and stuff like that they are desperate for your money [ when I wen down there one year a guy came over and started taking pics of me and charging me for them even though I didn't want them and told him that before] There are alot of iguanas too they're pretty cool..
And if your clubbing definately don't drive home alot of drivers down there are bad enough so take a bus...

There is so many American tourist's in Cancun , you'll barely realize your in Mexico.
I can do food , beer , cigarettes , and transportation to and from the beach ,for $20 us a day. I'm a local and a pro.........I tell people , minimum $50 a day and you'll have a blast, $100 a day , and you'll be stupid happy.
Best tips - Hotel staff is good for directions and transportation advice - make your own destinations , Bring your bargaining power's - they are pros's. Street vendors _ start at half price and bargain from there - be prepared to walk and then he will sell it to you. Don't eat the food they drag around all day on the beach and peddle. Don't tip anyone but maybe the bartender - 5 pesos a drink. Tipping is an American thing. They make less than $10us dollars a day 'ya know. Get out on day trip and explore Mexico - it's so much more than downtown Gringo ville, I'm sorry , Cancun. :) |

Well if you have an all inclusive from Mexico city to Cancun, you will spend from 1,115us by person, fly México-Cancún-México, hotel, transport airport-hotel-airport, all inclusive in hotel, price by person.
Is a hotel more or less, there are cheaper without meals. |

When I went there, I needed abotu 500 dollars, for al the excursions and other things you want to buy there. But yes, you should ring your atm card. But, you WILL need about 500 dollars. |
