In Cancun, Cozumel and Los Cabos you can use dollars inestead of pesos.
But in other parts of the republic you will need to change it to pesos, that about 220 pesos, with that you can have a meal on a restaurant or a sunglases. |

people act like dollars are gold just because you are in Mexico. Yeah, you might get a million pesos but that doesnt mean you get a million dollars worth of stuff.

I have to laugh at Bistros answer because it's true. Just because you have 20 dollars in Mexico they won't be looking at you like you have "money". It's almost the same as here. That is like going downtown and saying "I got 20 bucks what can I get"? A whole lotta nothing! If you are planning on getting by on this little of money, think again and bring more money. |
