why would so many want so badly to come here if their government took care of them?

i see where your going with this and it is slightly offensive. you think illegal mexicans are taking our welfare.

i know a white woman who won't get married because every year she gets 3000 dollars per kid for being a single mother. i know a white teenage mother who won't get a job because she gets 800 dollars a month.

these are things everyone should worry about and stop blaming people of another race. it's everyone of every color of every race taking advantage of this countries generous nature.

The only part of Mexico that actually does give welfare cash is in The Federal District state in Mexico City. There is a catch:

1- It's for a maximum of 1 year no matter what.
2- It's not that much money, just 200 dollars a month if you are lucky, far more probably not even half that much cash.
3- You have to have worked in that job for a year and a half minimum.
4- You have to have been fired from that job "injustly" though the term is vague. If you quit, it's worthless.
5- The job has to file the reason why they fired you in order for you to get the money.
6- You have to also renounce your IMSS health insurance during the time you're unemployed. They won't even give you the cash if you were never in the IMSS to begin with (sorry mailmen and other government employees on ISSTE!!!).
7- Only applies if the building you worked in resides exactly inside of the territory of the Distrito Federal State. Sorry, if you worked in the State of Mexico, but NO!
8- ALso, your residence HAS to be in the Distrito Federal. If you live in the State of Mexico, you don't qualift. You must also live in the DF for at least 6 months in the same building.

and finally:

9- You must have mexican citizenship.

So, I suggest you to stop whining and get a job. Welfare abuse by lazy ignorant slacks is part of what is killing America.

You need a passport to enter Mexico. If you have a European Australian New Zealand or US passport you do not need a visa but you can only stay for 90 day's. Most other countries need a Visa plus passport. You will not get welfare in Mexico. The land border is strict just like the airports.

The only reason to cross is if you murder someone and are escaping the death penalty. Then the Mexican govt makes you promise if they return you, you will get room and board in prison. There is no death penalty in the country cause some of the politicians were involved with the drug cartels!
