Don't forget sunblock, and don't forget to put it on. Don't forget your camera and an underwater camera because you have to go snorkeling. Swim with dolphins, take a ferry to Cozumel, go to a bunch of temples and ruins like the previous one mentioned and Tulum. Hopefully your resort or hotel will have bottled water. Be carefull if you just get in the tap water, I went to wet n wild in Cancun and assumed the wave pool was filtered ocean water but when I got diarrhea the next day I realized I was wrong. |

your common sense!!! dont stray away from the people your with, dont go anywhere alone even in the hotel! if your going to open your door make sure no ones close bye you in the hallway by your room! good luck n have a ball for me too!!! |

2. when you get to the hotel...you can do currency exchange there...You get a better rate...
3. take small bills
4. use your credit card as often as you instead of cash...you get a better exchange rate...
5. be careful with the locals...what happens so many times is...they front you and ask you to look at something, it can be a mexican design box or anything, and you look at...it could have drugs in it and they can bust you....SOOOO....if someone approaches you, walk away..

I recommend going to your local bank and buying some Mexican currency. It will be helpful and the private institutions in Mexico will charge you extra for their money,kind of like a service fee. Save some cash. |
