Unfortunatly, the currency was revalued by the Mexican government, see the link below. Old pesos are now only worth 1/1000th of the past value. They might not be accepted as currency as all.
"
A government economic strategy called the "Stability and Economic Growth Pact" (Pacto de estabilidad y crecimiento económico, PECE) was adopted under President Carlos Salinas. On 1 January 1993, the Bank of Mexico introduced a new currency, the nuevo peso ("new peso", or MXN), written "N$" followed by the numerical amount. One new peso, or N$1.00, was equal to 1,000 of the obsolete MXP pesos.
"
However, todays rate in Mexico for new pesos:
Mexico City, September 12th.- Mexico's fixed exchange rate Tuesday was set at 11.0361 pesos per dollar (ppd), reflecting a decline of 3.44 cents compared to Monday's final quote at 11.0705 ppd, according to information provided by the Central Bank (Banxico).

So I figure your bill is worth about $1.81 USD

Nothing! Banco Nacional de Mexico only recognizes new Pesos as currency, the highest denomination being 1,000 Pesos. Save it, frame it, give it to your great grand-children.

It's absoluty right above, our peso is 11 x dollar so old pesos are 1000 x acual "new pesos" N$ so you only have 1.81 and i don't know where would be accepted your bill.

Have a nice trip....

Since Mexico changed there currency you are holding $0.00 dollars in your hand.
Don't spend it all in one place.

At an exchange rate of around 8.25 pesos per US dollar you have around $2,350. Kind of Like the Lottory isnt it.

Adrian
Now your bill is only a Mexican Curious! A collector might give you something... Mexico revaluated its currency and there are no more 20,000 pesos bills. They changed to 20 pesos bill.

Take the bill to a bank, it's worth may change daily with the rates. Or try seeing an appaiser, because banks only take certain foreign bills (mostly current).

Heather and baby
i think its 200 dollars
