Mexicans are a mixture of Spanish (Spain) and Indians (Native Americans).
I'm 100% Mexican, but I've got more Spanish in me than Indian because I'm so fair skinned. |

hahaha yes this is a dumb question but its good that you had interest to ask! the people of Mexico are descendants of the native people that lived there for thousands of years mixed with the Spanish immigrants. in some parts of Mexico the people are more closely related to native Americans and some parts they are much closer to Spanish blood but all in all they are a mixture of two or more races just like we are. |

Most of them have been there for thousands of years. They decend from the Aztecs, Mayans, Yaqui, and Tahouramda (sp?) and many other tribes.
The rest is mostly from Spain. Mexico also has a community of Jews, Mennonites (it's more like a reservation), Afro-Latins and Italians. |

Like all the countries of the Western hemisphere, Mexico is a melting pot comprised of many races and nationalities. Mostly they are descended from the native indians that lived there for millenia and the spanish who arrived after Columbus. |
