You migth try Michoacan, Mexico.

There are great forest landscapes, and great places to visit.

There is the Paricutin volcan, you can visit the old town of San Juan, that was completely destroyed about 50 years ago, when the vulcano erupted. There you can see between the rocks the tower of the church where there was the image of St John, and was the only place that was safe.

There is this new town, named St Juan Nuevo (new St John), where they build a new church to that St, and they took there the image saved those days. That is suppose to be the town where the citizens of the old town went to live since then.

There is this cascade The Tzararacua, what's a great place to visit as well.

You can buy a wood guitar in Paracho, and many other wood crafts.

You can visit the Tzirahuen lake, and Patzcuaro lake with its islands Janitzio and Yunuen.

You can visit Morelia, where there is a nice zoo, and that's a colonial citty, so you can look old and beautiful constructions.

What else? the food is great, you can have uchepos, churipo, torundas, charales, the white fish of Patzcuaro and Tzirahuen, and many other delicious food.

Hey JEN you should come here too! and let me tell you that Mexico is very cheap place to visit, and Michoacan is of course cheaper than going to Cancun or Acapulco.

You can try Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, that is a great beach and a beatiful citty, and is not any crowded.

Go wherever you want to go.

Make sure you can afford it. You don't want to be in debt for the rest of your life because of a two-week vacation spent in some remote island surrounded by thousands of beautiful women who don't give a c-ap about you.

Puerto Rico.

Because: You don't need a passport. (Assuming you're an American) It's beautiful. Everything is cheap. There's no sales tax. They have a dual national language, English AND Spanish. They have rainforests, rolling green hills, beaches and great shopping in old San Juan.

If you're a single, spontaneous, adventurous male, then you have to go to Southeast Asia. Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos. It's inexpensive, makes for great stories, and you can do things there that you've frankly never ever ever dreamt of before. Sex? Drugs? Boose? Guns? Debauchery? Check. And if you get tired, luxurious beaches, beaitufl culture, and terrific food. Use protection of course, but otherwise, have a blast.

Cancun I would not advise! Try going to other places in Mexico that are not that crowded with people. Trust me there are many places to go in Mexico. Some places are just starting to come up and there's not that many people I know it sounds dumb but the new places are cheap but still nice and clubs there are allot of women that travel to these places because its not to crowded. Take for me go somewhere new. Like Colima been there it's beautiful and big not that many people(over corwded) but allot of FUN

travel the world. or, if you don't have that much time or money, where do you live? You could drive 2 hours and i bet you could find somewhere to relax

~Jen~
I need a vacation too! I was thinking of going somewhere I have never been on the spur of the moment. Like going down to the train station and buying a ticket that takes me somewhere new. I like spontaneous things like that.

The two most beautiful places I ever visited were Hawaii and Italy. If you go to Hawaii, stay out of Oahu. It's too much like a city. Maui and Kawaii are both beautiful islands to visit. In Italy, Tuscany is great... Sienna, Florence, Pisa. And the food is unbelievably good. Lake Como, in Northern Italy near the Swiss border, is incredible. You can see the snow covered Alps while you're walking under palm trees. Bellagio is a great village to stay in.
