Why did you write "pacos" (a nickname to those named Francisco) and "pasos" (means "steps")?
I guess that is a mistake, not a joke.
The mexican currency is PESO, and the rate changes every second due to the free market rules. A good site to check it is at mexican yahoo site:

Check it there; right now it is $10.47 pesos per us$1 dollar. At the mornig was $10.44
That is the national average (not to low, not to high, that is better), and it is very accurate. I use that always.

You can get 3 pacos for an American dollar. You might get 12 pecos. Or even 49 pasos. Could be 100,000 picos to the dollar. What you could do is A. Fugure out what it is called. B. Look it up yourself. There are many exchange sites on the internet. You found this one, with a little effort you could find them.
