If your planning all inclusive, dont worry about what these people are saying "being fed and getting drinks"...thats what all inclusive means. That way you dont have to pay to get off the boat. The first year I went to Cancun I stayed at a place called Hoteur Beach Paradise. For the money its a really nice hotel. They have three resturant. A main dining room, a girll by the pool, and a formal dining resturant. They were working on putting in an Itailian place, but it was not ready when I was there (2 years ago). They had 3 bars including a swim up bar. They have a fulltime activities coordinator and nightly shows. The biggest drawback is no mini-bar in the room and you only get one bottle of water. You have to buy additional from gift shop. One good thing, its towards the southern end of the hotel zone. So when you hop a bus to head to shop/resturants/clubs your almost guarenteed a seat.

My wife and I are going on a cruise in Sept.. I hope to meet you there. I have to say this about your plans--A cruise is really want you want. You get fed, you get off the boat where they say you will, and you get treated like a king. Check out the Carnival Miracle's sailings for Sept. You get a price break for hurricane season. For all-inclusive others, I can not say. I would go the cruise route, myself. J.Williams

Instead of visiting Cancun via an all-inclusive hotel, I would seriously recommend a cruise, and making Cancun one of the stops on your cruise. Why? All the food is free, the entertainment on the ship is included, you can unpack your bags, and see different places every day. Dollar per dollar spent, I'm just not sure you can get a better value! Be warned in advance, drinks are not included on a cruise, though you CAN bring drinks onboard and keep them in your room (If you're really pinched on funds).

Maybe if you call Mexicana or Aeromexico (Mexican bigest airlines) they would find you a package, just ask for an all-inclusive hotel.

There is also another airline who has packages and is cheaper, it is called Aviacsa www.aviacsa.com and another even cheaper which is Magni Charters, I don't know if they have a web page.

What you need to do is wait until a few weeks before you want to go and search the net for last minute deals. I am going to Puerto Vallarta in June from Toronto Ontario Canada for just over $800.00 1 week all inclusive
