It gets hot and muggy then . What was typical for the past few years when I was there was that late afternoon storms would pop up around 4 - 6 pm and then be done. It was usually after we finished our daytime activities and were in our rooms getting cooled off/ cleaned up and ready for dinner.
sometimes lasted 20 minutes sometimes an hour or two. |

I went to Puerto Vallarta for a few days last year in July. It was great. Its a really nice place. |

Puerto Vallarta is the best beach town in Mexico, its tropical rain..so its not bad at all, it might rain at night or in the afternoon, but normally only for a little while..
and in my opinion tropical rain is great, i love swimming while its raining warm rain.. |
