I don't know what you did, I'm sure what you didn't do. You didn't ask him why he did that, you didn't ask him how he felt about his country, or about yours, you didn't ask him if his flag represents something important to him, or if he feels threatened by a racial difference or so. I think the kid got mixed up with the rebellious feelings usually embedded in mexicans (it comes way back from the ancient people like the aztecs and them being conquered by others, like it happened with the spaniards) and the national identity and pride usually represented by americans (United Statians). Please don't get me wrong, but there's usually a story behind what happens, and even when there are a lot of mexicans being disrespectful and committing felonies, not all of them are, and the immigration issue should not get you hostile towards other people

Im Mexican myself..ans just like every other Mexicanos out there we have PRIDE..we dont disrespect people just for the hell of it, so either you did something stupid or you took it in a bad way...its funny how Mexicans get clowned on all the time yet they are the hardest workers out there! bringing in very little and taking care of the family with respect.

Mexicans don't go back to Mexico because the poor Americans would be lost without all those workers who do all the things gringos are too weak, too afraid, too lazy or too unintelligent to do and for just a small part of what they should get paid for it.
