I would say Dreams resorts or any of the Sunscape properties, I find weddings to be more popular in the Mayan that in Cancun, here's a website that may help you.

I don't know about weddings, but Isla Mujeres is a beautiful island off the coast of Cancun and I think the water and the beach is nicer there... just a thought! Have fun! |

Belize or Jamaica would be easier picks for a destination wedding. In every country, you must be in the country for a certain amount of days before you can legally marry. I think Mexico also requires a blood test |

They also have a forum board to ask questions. In the next couple of weeks they will have a Dolphin aquarium on site in Cancun. Your guests will really enjoy the dolphins. What I like about Dreams is no wrist bands, no reservations for dinner and no towel keys to lose. A full service spa. 24/7 free room service. The food is good. The service is top notch and it's a beautiful place to get married. They have a lovely gazebo to get married in. The views and setting are awesome.

The Paradisus Riviera is beautiful. Saw a wedding there when I visited a couple of years ago. It's an all-inclusive resort about 18 miles from Cancun on the Mayan Riviera. They have 5 restaurants, white sand beach, 3 pools, etc. They have a beautiful gazebo set up over the main pool that looks out over the ocean for weddings. |
