Im from the uk is it to hot to take a new born baby on holiday to cancun? and what is there to do there?

When travelling with a baby you should always take the same precautions you would when travelling to any tropical beach and city. Protection from the sun and over exposure. Only bottled water when necessary. Your baby should have all his vaccination shots in order. Take with you a medicine kit with the minimum medicines necessary for earaches, fevers, tummyaches...

We always travelled with my children and enjoyed all our trips very much. Today I continue doing it, but with our granddaughter. Memories of our trips are always a joy to remember.

You will love Cancun and all the surrounding areas, such as XelHa, Tulum and Coba archeological ruins, scuba diving, etc. If you take turns with your husband for certain activities, the baby can be confortable in a shaddy PALAPA.

In the summer it is quite hot in Cancun. Also it is sort of a party place. If you are looking for somewhere more family oriented try Cozumel. You can drive into Cancun if you'd like, but it is more laid back.

Cancun is not really the place for a baby unless you stay in one of the big all-inclusive resorts. That way you won't have to worry about the water getting your baby sick or the drunken students keeping him awake. Cancun is mostly a party town -- lots of bars and clubs, but you can arrange excursions through your hotel to go visit ancient ruins, go scuba diving, etc. The weather is gorgeous, but just be careful travelling with a newborn.

we didn't take our son on holiday until he was four its just not fair on them or yourselves. remember you were a couple before parents make a little time for yourselves and keep your relationship sane.

If you are taking a new born on vacation, then it doesn't' matter there is to do there since you won't be doing any of it. You are clearly a glutton for punishment.

if it were too hot there would be no babies in any of the hot countries. just keep the baby in shade all the time and put sun screen on him/her and a hat.
i don't know what there is to do there but have a nice time!

You should not take your newborn baby to cancun! It is way too hot for a baby. It is actually suggested that you keep infants out of the sun untill they are at least 3 months old. And even then, you should apply generous amounts of sunscreen (spf of 45 or higher), have him/her in a suncap, and keep light colored clothes on them.

Hi! I agree! Cancun can be very warm, it just depends when you are planning to go! I would say that if you want to have a relaxing holiday you should go to any All Inclusive spa, resort or Hotel in Playa del Carmen. If you do not want to spend a lot of money go directly to Tulum.
