Im from the uk. where is the best resort in mexico for nightlife and beaches and not far history.in april.?
Additional Details do you recommend cancun or puerto vallarta.
Try Cancun , north of the Mayan Riviera for college spring break fun. Go to the southernmost tip of Mexico to Cabo San Lucas for a bit of everything; crazy college drinking, million dollar yachts, Sammy Hagar's bar, surfing(you're on a penninsula with 3 oceans on all sides!). I was there last yr. with my buddy and we met tons of hot women everywhere. The Mayan Riviera is a great place to stay if you want to do day trips to Mayan ruins, etc... but your resort won't be cheap. The resorts in this area however, are usually worth the extra money, and are generally large enough to not have to hear the 3to5am crowd if you don't want to. Have fun.

don't go to Cozumel or progresso, they are absolute pants,iv just come back from a Cruise and they were two ports that we went to,people just pester you to buy constantly, children as young as 2, its such a shame, but it spoils your holiday having to constantly say NO

Tijuana. j/k try cozumel, cancun, there's one in Southern Mexico though I forgot its name. But stay away from Tijuana. unless you go with at least one spanish speaker and 15 friends.
