Im going to Mexico with my hubby and 21 yr old son in early Sept and want to know where we Should go to relax?

We was in mexico during the 9/11 and we stayed in puerto vallarta....VERY nice to stay in....Nice people..GOOD food....Very nice tours of old and new puerto vallarta....and..The hotels there are very nice...BEWARE tho....THEY will try to push!! the time shares at u...but...if you want to listen to there circles and squares stuff for 90 mins,,,,,THEY give u some very nice gifts...

I like Playa del Carmen (also known as Playacar). Went there in July 2004 and stayed at the Riu Palace. It was really nice but kinda expensive. Beautiful beaches, nice pool with a swim-up bar, and great buffet practically all the time. There's shopping within a few miles and a boat/ferry that goes back and forth to Cozumel several times a day. I don't remember what the ferry costs. Check out the websites for Playa del Carmen. I've never been to Cancun, but friends have told me they enjoy going there. I think your 21 yr old son would enjoy Cancun more probably because it would have more night life. Playa del Carmen is more quiet and relaxing I think. Hope this helps! Have fun wherever ya'll choose to stay in Mexico!

On my honeymoon I stayed at an all inclusive resort that was GREAT... it is a string of resorts all along the Cancun area that you could go in and out of any of them, they were called Moon Palace, Sun Palace, Cancun Palace, etc. Look into them!

You can find everything your looking for in Cancun. Apple vacations or Funjet. Also, check your local travel agents, they may be able to get you early booking discounts. I did that last year, saved 500 compared to Funjet.
