It will be in the 80's and humid. You have a 16% chance you will get some rain. According to wunderground.com and the history they have on weather in December.
I would bring plenty of lotion, some skeeter protection and more money than clothes.

I live here and right now it's been mostly cloudy but by the middle of the day it gets sunny and hot. You'll probably still get a tan. Bring lotion, flip flops, bathing suit, your cash, and bring a light sweater, you know not the bulgy kind, just because it cools down in the night and with all the sun you'll be taking you might need it. Besides it doesn't hurt to be prepared. |

That is the exact day I landed there last year, It rained every day I was there(7 days 6 nights) they said it was very unusual though, it was still in the sixties. Pack plenty of sunscreen still manged to get burned. |

Pack light no need to bring more than a backpack and 1 suitcase. Suntan Lotion is a must. if you are going to some of the Tourist attractions like Xcaret or go swim with dolphins . They only allow Eco friendly Biodegradable suntan lotion so take that into consideration. You should use that anyway, right.
Clothes is light for warm weather. shorts tank tops and decent hat or cap for the sun. While you are there I am sure your gonna get some clothes there, i know i did. If you need anything else they will have it there.
Before you go check out yahoo travels and see Trip Planner . There you can get an Idea of what to do there.
One thing if you rent a car and drive to Chichen Itza make sure you take the free road there. The toll road will cost you 50 Dollars. yeah its a little faster, but the free road is an experience in itself. |
