It depends on what do you mean for overpopulation and Mexico. Mexico City is overpopulated, as well as New York or Los Angeles in the US, and their effects are very similiar, but Mexico, the whole country, is not overpopulated. There are many other countries (some of them richer, like Japan) more populated if we consider the size of the territory.
Mexico has been affected mostly by the bad governments, bad organization and ignorance. I think that overpopulation you said could be a blessing with the proper knowledge, leadership and organization. |
