Mexican speaks Spanish, Italian speaks Italian, both are Latin languages, it has the same root but healthy very different, the physical type of the Italians is very different from the physical type of the Mexican. I think you should observe with more attention. Between Italy and Mexico exists the Atlantic ocean.

There weren't any major Italian settlements in the Americas, and they have had little influence on modern Mexico. The Italian language is similar to Spanish, but the people look very different. Italy and Spain are separate countries in Western Europe. Mexico is a separate country in North America.

No. In Italy, they speak Italian. In Mexico, they speak Spanish. Spanish was brought over to Mexico from a country called Spain. Spain is not part of Mexico. Just like we are not part of England or Australia, even though they speak English.

The truth is that their is a part of Italy in Mexico,their are many colonies through out the country that have Italian background and one that I visited while living in Oaxaca was called Chipilo where they still speak the Italian language.Hey how do you like them apples "Dumb ? guy?" But then again do Italian people eat apples? I often wondered about that! Buy the way no ? is a dumb ?, "you know what I mean?"

there are lot of latin people who have european roots, but the majority of people are mixed race...

probably you met some people with strong european roots.

Mexico was a subdivision of the Spanish Empire a long time ago (and Florida, Texas, New Mexico and California were part of that Mexico).

Italy is itself but when the Romans ruled it (about 2000 years ago) they colonised Spain and Spanish is mainly a local dialect of Latin (the Roman language). Mexicans are mixed Spanish and Indian blood but the Spanish blood is a mix of Mediterranean and Western Asian blood (from the Goth/Hun invasions) and so is Italian blood. So that is why they can look and sound similar.

Spain and Italy are original members of the European Union which is a nearly federated system but with more independence to the members. Mexico is just itself.
