Is January a good time to take a cruise to Mexico?

Well, northern mexico will be a bit cold by that month, but if yu travel south, you'll find marvelous beaches and cities or towns with warm weather llike cuernavaca city and acapulco, to name a few!!

but january and february are great because thereÂ´s warm sea currents and the water is not so hot because many americans complaint of it during the summer also itÂ´s a nice and relaxed season if you want a calm trip

Sounds fun! I prefer to cruise to these places in the summer though, but October - January sounds more cozy.

It is a good time for a great deal, but weather can be bad. The ships are big enough that you do not have to worry too much about a January storm. I took a Mexican Cruise in December once and the boat was a rockin', it rained a bit, but it was still fun for the value. Just be prepared and have a blast!

I was in Puerto Vallarta the first week of January. The prices were fantastic because it was the last week before peak season started. The weather on land was beautiful the entire time and the temperature was good for swimming, but the sea was really violent and they had the beach closed some of the time. We watched huge trees wash up on the beach, so there must have been a storm at sea.

Yes because it's not too hot. I went to Cancun and the people who work there said that mostly the Latinos go there June through August and the Americans and Europeans go November through February because it's cooler.

try end of april to mid may its alot nicer.

I like to go to the tropics in February or March. The air down there is more comfortably cool, and I miss the worst of winter up here. January is ok, but October chances a storm.
