Yes it will be extremely hot but as its the holidays id guess quite lively..
It would be in hurricane season technically but the risks are slim. |

It is smoking hot during the month of July and it is also hurricane season so don't plan too far out! The good news is things should be a little cheaper as July is considered the middle of the "off" season for that area. |

We usually go in July, it is very hot yes! But heat is different when you are on vacation, wearing shorts and tanks laying around at the beach...laying in hammocks reading, etc. It isn't the same as being really hot at home when you have to work and get all sweaty ect. Technically it is hurricane season, but they usually don't occur until August/Sept. It might be worth it to purchase travel insurance or read the airline/hotel rules carefully incase you do need to cancel because of inclement weather.

I've been to Cancun twice in July and it is hot, but still crowded and fun. Never had a problem with hurricanes (knock on wood) and were going back again this July!

As many point out it is HOT. But then who goes to a beach when its cold? And usually its HOT down there any time you go. July is low season so prices are cheaper, however, it is hurricane season and one never knows when you might have a tropical storm or hurricane come in and ruin your vacation. |
