Ya, it should be fun, hot..... but fun! I was just there a few weeks ago, i loved it, but make sure you know the term "no gracias" (no thank you). haha every1 comes up to you trying to sell you stuff in some parts, so if you just say no gracias and stay firm on it they wont bother you. have fun! : )

Not unless you enjoy hurricanes.

Sports Predict
Weather=Bad Hurricane season. Fishing=Amazing. Not too hot thats the bottom line.

We were in Cancun in October and the weather was beautiful. It rained at night a couple of times but it didn't last very long.

It is still hurricane season but I would make my plans. They give you plenty of warning if a hurricane is on it's way. Always have a backup plan, take out travel insurance that covers weather related problems.

Enjoy and have fun)

I have been in October twice and have not had any problems. It is cooler, but still very hot and humid. Make sure you take out travel insurance when you book incase there is a hurricane you can change your tickets!!! The water is cooler, and there are not as much fish to see while snorkeling as you do in the summer, and the water is choppier, but you can still snorkel and it is beautiful! Also, the good thing about October is there are not as many kids-I mean little kids on summer vacation with their families. For us, that was nicer.

This is a tough time of year, but I use my timeshare in Cancun every October. 2 years ago, I was stranded in the midst of Hurricane Wilma. People were crowding the airports and no one seemed to be able to leave because of the chaos. However, I still went back. When there is no actual hurricane, it might still rain every day for an hour or so midday, but the rain is refreshing. It is so hot and humid there that when the sun comes back out it dries your clothes immediately. The weather is still beautiful at that time of year, and you avoid the crazy spring break crowd, yet it is still bustling in Cancun. If a hurricane would concern you, I'd go in a different time of year, but there won't always be a hurricane.
