Well some people think it is, but the idea is just to be smart. Tijuana is going thru some tough times right now, but it still has many good qualities

Not a good time to go,unless you like putting your life in your hands.Not to mention if they decided to throw you in jail for any reason.People rot in Mexican jails.

It's gotten pretty bad. Some of the Mexican Police are on the Drug Lords payroll. One thing to remember is that Mexico is a Country with it's own Laws. If something happens to you there you are at Mexico's mercy. Some times Americans have got thrown in a Mexican Jail and have not been seen for years or seen at all. I am of Hispanic decent and I don't go to Mexico anymore.

i think so. my uncles a travel agent and he wouldnt let us go into tijuana, or stay overnight there when we went to LA a couple years ago.

YES it used to be a great party place now you just wanna
leave there alive. Too many drug cartels and some
bad cops enough to make it a nightmare especially
if you do not speak Spanish. If you really wanna
go first read the newspaper and see what is going
on and then decide.
