Is a passport necessary to drive into Baja Ca. or did they push the requirement back again?

AFTER JAN 31 U NEED UR PASSPORT. AFTER THAT DATE I THINK U WONT BE ABLE TO PASS ONLY WITH A LICENCE OR WHATEVER. BUT ITS NOT UNTILL JAN 31.

after Jan 31 2008 u need a driver license and a birth certificate but before that date all u need is a driver license and say u are U.s citizen...on car! or foot

Awhile back, it was announced that you would need a passport mid summer of 08. A couple of days ago the San Diego newspaper said January 31, 08. Just get the darn thing, everybody should have one its a valuable ID if your credit cards and debit card are lost or stolen.
