Passports are required if you FLY to Mexico. This has been the law since Jan. 2007. If you travel by LAND or SEA, you need a photo I.D. and proof of citizenship...EITHER a passport OR a birth certificate. See site below and read carefully for the current info. There is a GREAT deal of misinformation given on this subject, so best to read for yourself. See 2nd site for all passport appliation info , if you need that. |

If you are coming from the states then Passport mandatory for flight, however if you are traveling by cruise, no passport required. |
