nice but way too americanized. thats why i dont like it. im from mexico and when i have been there it just feels like im in the u.s. i dont get the feel of mexico so you dont really see what mexico is really like because its all made up for americans. i suggest acapulco. very real, urban, and better than cancun. thats why all the mexican celebrities have houses there and not in cancun.

Cancun is a fantastic place, the night life is amazing, the beaches are clean and covered in beautiful white sand, usually with coconut palms. The Hotels, and the people who work in them will make you feel very welcome indeed, as will any Mexican. It's a real Caribbean paradise. I used to visit Cancun as a Tourist from my days in the Army, I loved it so much that I now live here.
There are so many things to do, from lazing on the beach with a cocktail or in the pool, to horse riding, mayan ruins and eco parks. You will truley have a wonderful time in Cancun.
Trust me... It's More Than OKAY !!!

Absolutely beautiful, the beaches are great, the food is exquisite and the people are very hospitable.

it's more then ok. Cancun is great. I stayed at the Hilton and they provided many tours in which I enjoyed very much. There are many clubs/ bar in which you could choose from. If you like beaches Cancun is the place to go.

It was great for us. But be careful who makes your reservations for you. We got screwed by a local Car rental Company from the internet. they are the same company but with about 10 different websites for reservations under different names, that didn't really have any cars to rent. They were a paper company ( brokers )that sold our reservation to another company that didn't show up at the airport. noone there had heard of this Company. We ended up renting at the Resort after wasting 1.5 hours trying to get the girl in their office to understand English before giving up and the price was about half of the online price at the Resort. Be very careful of this one company.
