i don't think so, you can afford a house but it'll be small. Depends on the city and the area, a house will cost you at least 100k-150k dollars, and you'll prolly get the swimming pool, or at least a tennis court, and a large yard.

no. not even close. you can buy a house in mexico for 30,000 USD but it's not going to have a pool, or be anywhere near the ocean.

everybody thinks cause its mexico it will be cheap.....not close! u cant even make a house for that much...it will cost u 60.000 dlls to make a good house..1 story! the land will cost u about 15,000-30,000 dlls! And in acapulco it probably be way more...cause its a tourist place! In mexico they go by metros,the land u will be buying is 10x20 or 12x25 which isnt big enough to build a big house. Thats why people have 2 story or even 3 story houses in mexico! and depends where u buy it! Forget about acapulco! u can buy one for about 30,000 but its not gonna be in a nice place....not even close to the beach or nice place! trust me...been buying and building in mexico for about 15 yrs! good luck! O almost forgot...u can probably build one for that much out of wood like in the states,but the wood their is double what it is in the states!...in mexico they build out of cement,rebar,cement block....if u build one out of wood it isnt gonna be worth much like in the states! good luck!!!

Nowhere near Acapulco. Condos and beach front houses in Baja Norte sell for 300,000USD plus, some for over a million.

I built my house for under $20,000 and I would be able to sell it in the US for over a 150,000. It has 4 bedrooms, garage, 2 baths, spacious kitchen, no basement. In Acapulco land fees might be a little more expensive. I bought my land for 100 dollars!
